Two Years

Dearest Father

I am who I am because you lived.

I am who I am because you died.

It’s two years today, and I still don’t really know what to say about you.

But I know you liked this song. I remember you singing it, even though you couldn’t really sing.

It reminds me of you when I hear it.

I’m not entirely sure, but I think you’d have appreciated that.
